Similar to a board of directors, Council ensures that the College fulfills its legislated mandate by setting the College’s strategic and policy direction and making decisions that protect the public interest. Council consists of 10 kinesiologists elected by the profession and six to eight public members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor.

Election & Nomination

Elections are held every year or, in some situations, when there is a vacancy on Council. In 2024, the nomination period will run from May 10 to 24, with the Council elections taking place from July 9 to 16.

An email notice with more nomination information will be sent in May to eligible kinesiologists in the following electoral districts:
