Changes to the self-assessment process

The annual self-assessment has been running in its current form for six years. The College is refreshing the self-assessment to incorporate feedback received over the years and to ensure it aligns with key priorities.

As a result, kinesiologists registered in the General Class do not need to complete a self-assessment this year. There is no self-assessment due March 31, 2020.

This refresh will have kinesiologists completing a self-assessment every two years instead of every year. The next self-assessment period will begin on December 1, 2020.

Even though kinesiologists do not complete a self-assessment this year, they are still required to undertake continuing professional development (CPD) activities, update their individual learning plan (ILP), and maintain evidence of participation in CPD. The ILP can be updated through the Self-Assessment Portal.
