One of the ways the College works to prevent sexual abuse is by making kinesiologists aware of their duty to report sexual abuse and possible boundary violations. The Mandatory Reporting Guideline was revised to include legal changes passed by the Ontario Government, such as increased fines for not making a report. The content of the Mandatory Reporting Guideline has not changed. Instead, information about the duty to report sexual abuse was given greater prominence.
