Thank you for your patience as we work to reschedule the April 18, 2020 exam.

The exam is now scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2020.

We understand that this may not be an ideal date. However, the College felt it was prudent to schedule this exam in the fall, rather than the summer, given the uncertainty of the current situation. Please note that this new date may change depending on advice from the Ontario Government and local public health units about the COVID-19 pandemic. If we need to change this date again, we will let you know as soon as possible.

All documents submitted and fees paid when you first registered for the exam are still valid. No action is required on your part unless you cannot write on September 19. Please read below for more information on deferring or withdrawing.

Accommodations

If circumstances have changed and you now require an accommodation, email examination@coko.ca to request the testing accommodation forms. You will need to submit these forms and any supporting documentation (e.g. medical documentation) by Friday, July 17, 2020.

If you cannot write in September

If you cannot write the exam on September 19, 2020, you have two options:

  1. You can defer
You can defer writing the exam to the next available exam date for any reason, including not being ready to write. Requests for deferral must be emailed at least seven (7) days before the exam. The exam fee will be credited in full toward the next sitting.
  2. You can withdraw
You can withdraw from writing the exam if you do not want to defer to the next available exam date. If you withdraw, you will receive a 50% refund of the exam fee if the withdrawal occurs at least 15 calendar days before the exam date. If the withdrawal occurs within 15 calendar days of the exam date, you will not be refunded any amount.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the College at examination@coko.ca.

Thank you again for your understanding and we wish everyone writing in September the best of luck. Learn more about the exam.
